Asia Cup Super Fours Format: Explained

The Super Four stage of the Asia Cup often brings out the best contests, and this year is no different. The format is pretty simple: the top two teams from each group make it through, and then all four sides play each other once in a round-robin style league. That means six matches in total before the top two teams on the points table square off in the final on September 28 in Dubai.

This setup also means some familiar face-offs. India and Pakistan, who already met in the group stage, are set to clash again in the Super Four. And if both sides make the final, fans could be treated to a third India–Pakistan blockbuster in the same tournament.
