What’s most important is that they are all batters, meaning their roles will be crucial in IPL 2025, but at present, they are not showing promise with the bat. Virat Kohli

The first and foremost is Indian star batter Virat Kohli, who has a stellar record in the IPL, having played 252 games and scored 8,004 runs.However, it’s no secret that he has been struggling to make runs in the recently held games, whether it’s against New Zealand, Bangladesh, or Australia. Although he did score a hundred in the first Test against Aussies, there hasn’t been much success after that. He made 475 runs in Tests and ODIs combined in 2024. He is set to play the upcoming Ranji game for Delhi against Railways, which will surely boost his match practice. But overall, he is certainly not in form, and this is a concern for RCB.

Phil Salt

Currently, things are not going well for England’s stylish batter Phil Salt, whose form in the ongoing series against India has been a nightmare. He failed to cross double digits for the Three Lions, making scores of 0, 4, and 5. RCB paid big money to get him, but unfortunately, his form is not giving much hope to the franchise. However, since he is an important player for the Bengaluru franchise, the team will hope that Salt gets back on track soon.

Liam Livingstone

Alright, he made 43 off 24 against India in the 3rd T20I, but there’s no question that RCB’s new signing, Liam Livingstone, is not having a good outing recently, especially against spin bowling. RCB signed him for INR 8.75 crores, but he has been ineffective so far. Batters like Livingstone, Phil Salt, and Jacob Bethell are known for aggressive batting, but unfortunately, there has been no big performance from these players.

Speaking about Livingstone, the struggle is not new, it has been a concern in the past as well. He played for Punjab Kings, and his last season didn’t end well with the bat, making 111 runs in 7 games.
